The sentence ‘Slice the kiwi, bananas, and melon but leave the cherries alone.’ is incorrect. Comma is used when you want to separate the elements in series or to connect two independent clauses. A comma must also be placed after but since another element is being presented.

The Federal Reserve is not a credit reporting agency. It is the main banking system in America, created in the 1910s. Credit reporting agencies work with banks such as the Federal Reserve to help the bank - or another type of business - decide whether a person they lend money to will be able to pay it back.

Dominik [7]

Answer:

B. Empire State Building

Explanation:

In English language, a noun can be defined as a word used to refer to a person, place, animal, idea, feeling or thing. Therefore, a noun is considered to be a naming word.

There are four (4) major types of nouns and these includes;

I. Abstract nouns.

II. Collective nouns.

III. Common nouns.

IV. Proper nouns.

A proper noun can be defined as a specific name used to refer only to a particular thing, place, or person such as America, Europe, London, Joseph, Earth, Microsoft, Empire State Building, O2 Arena, etc.

As a rule of thumb, all proper nouns must begin with a capital letter irrespective of where they are placed in a sentence. Therefore, when you use a proper noun, you should ensure you start it with a capital letter.

In all honesty, I am really not a fan of heights, so the Empire State Building is not a big thrill for me.

imagine that you played very well a sport match for school write a diary entry that describes your feelings
AlekseyPX

Answer:

Diary entry about a well played sports match.

Explanation:

1 August 2017

Tuesday

Dear Diary,

Today, I had the best play of my entire sports life. Our team was playing for the gold medal in the football game against the blue team. The play was a huge match, and everyone was there to watch the finals. I had never scored a goal before but today, I managed to score twice. Even the coach didn't seem to understand how I played so well today.

But the win made me feel alive and special. I have never felt something like this before, the feeling of being the reason for your team winning the gold medal and the winning trophy. It made me feel worthy and a part of the team too.

I am still 'floating in the air, with the feeling of having contributed to the success of the team. And I don't want this feeling to end too.

Anyway, today was a great day and I truly enjoyed it. And I will always remember this, always.

Love,

Ricky.
