Answer: Its because <u>most of the population stays in the warmer parts of the country.</u> So that is why places like British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec are the most populated.

Urbanization due to industrialization has also played a role in the population growth of Ontario because it provides job opportunities, better living environments together with good educational institutions.
