How did race play a part in the euorpean colonization of africa
slava [35]
The Europeans thought that they deserved to colonized the people who were native to Africa. They didn't pay any attention to the Africans boarder or tribes and just overruled them with there own political borders. Then there is obviously, the slave trading business.

The Europeans must have thought that were better because you wouldn't treat someone who you view as your equal that way.

ELEN [110]
Douglas that settlers in a U.S. territory could circumvent the U.S. Supreme Court's Dred Scott decision—which held that neither states nor territories were empowered to make slavery illegal—simply by failing to provide for police enforcement of the rights of slave owners to their slaves.

Answer:

Appellate jurisdiction, review cases previously decided.

13 US Courts of Appeals

No Jury Just Judges

Explanation:

Appellate are the part of the American judicial system that manage for listen and going over appeals from legal cases that have already been seen/heard in a trial-level or other lower court.

There are 13 appellate courts that sit below the U.S. Supreme Court, also known as U.S. Courts of Appeals.

A bench trial is tried to a judge only thus, there's no jury.

Hence the answers are:

Appellate jurisdiction, review cases previously decided.

13 US Courts of Appeals
