Cirque Du Soleil (Circus of the Sun in English) is the biggest circus producing entertainment company in the world. It was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in Canada by two then street performers, Guy Laliberte and Gilles Ste-Croix on the 16th of June 1984. It is currently based in Saint Michel, Montreal, Canada. They have been organizing shows and going on tours all over the world through the last 4 decades. They have had shows in all the continents with only Antarctica as exception.

A special moment in their career was in December 1993, where they had their first permanent production show, Mystere, at their premier in Las Vegas. It was held at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, a 2,884 rooms and 220 suites hotel located at the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise.
