Answer: C.Proctor rejecting Abigail's attempts to rekindle their relationship.

In The Crucible, Proctor has an affair with Abigail, even though he is married to Elizabeth. As Proctor is not an immoral character, he experiences deep regret over his actions, and he decides to end the affair. In this scene, Abigail tries to rekindle the relationship she had with Proctor. However, he refuses. Abigail attacks Proctor by telling him he is not a real man, as a weak and sickly wife has complete control over him.

This sentence contains a comma splice: Baking was never easy for LaKeisha, something always went wrong. Choose the correct way t
4vir4ik [10]
This would be A- [Baking was never easy for LaKeisha, for something always went wrong.] The word “for” after the comma is being used as a synonym for “because” here. It’s less common in modern texts, but does show up occasionally, and can be differentiated from the more typical meaning by its placement after a comma.
