The Armenian Parliament submitted 616 proposals for 2011 draft budget revision to the RA Government. Over 50% of them were put forward on behalf of the parliamentary factions. It should be noted that MPs’ proposals are hardly different – they are mostly requests for the construction or renovation of schools, streets, seminaries, centers of culture and so on. The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) submitted the most proposals, and the Government accepted 99% of them. To be precise, the only proposal that was declined is a request for funds for renovation of the school in Aigtek, Armavir region.
