Marie: "Oh really?...Great. Let me guess, I failed."

Mother: "You did such a poor job on the examination! You did not take the exam seriously, because if you did, you would have studied more. Do you not know that this was such an important exam for you?? "

Marie: (bows head in disappointment) ...

Mother: "You are banned from going out with your friends until I schedule the retake and you pass the test well. Understand?"

Marie: (frowns) "Yes, Mother, I understand. I will try harder next time..." (goes upstairs)
