Answer:

1.The President informs Congress of the diplomatic dispute between the United States and France taking place by presenting the evidence and the facts. Adams specifically addresses the safety of commerce on the seas and urges all departments in the government to adopt a forceful course of action.

2. permitting the deportation, fine, or imprisonment of anyone deemed a threat or publishing “false, scandalous, or malicious writing” against the government of the United States.

3. These laws included new powers to deport foreigners as well as making it harder for new immigrants to vote.

4.The Alien and Sedition Acts were a series of four laws passed by the U.S. Congress in 1798 amid widespread fear that war with France was imminent. The four laws–which remain controversial to this day–restricted the activities of foreign residents in the country and limited freedom of speech and of the press.

2. Which statement explains why there are mutual benefits to free trade policies? * D
KatRina [158]

Answer:

Without trade barriers, nations can specialize, which allows them to take advantage of their unique  resources.

Explanation:

Trade barriers are all kinds of government activities or regulations restricting the freedom of international trade.

Most trade barriers are characterized by the same mechanism, that is, by imposing various types of artificially generated costs on trade, so that the price of the good which is the subject of it increases. They are intended to favor or protect domestic producers by excluding them from an equivalent market. This is at the expense of the consumer's interests because he must pay more for goods and services that would normally be available to him at lower prices.

Theoretically speaking, the free market removes all trade barriers except those that harm public health and safety. In practice, even those countries that promote free trade rules intensively subsidize certain areas of the economy, such as agriculture and the metallurgy industry.

The definition of family in the u.s. has been stable since the colonial era
matrenka [14]
Depending on if you're asking if this is true or false then it is highly false because of the changes in society and what an individual believes is in their own definition a family. Families aren't always the mother and father and their children-over the years families have evolved as society has changed. Families have gone from a two parent household to a single parent household when either the father or mother can be the superior figure of the house. (Hope this helps some ^^)
