Answer:

A run on sentence is when a sentence has two independent clauses (complete sentences) that are connected incorrectly. A fragment is where you are missing a subject, verb, or complete thought.

Explanation:

1. While I was going to the store yesterday, I tripped and fell. Fragment Missing complete thought

2. I made tacos for dinner last night, and they were good. (Add comma splice) Run on Not connected properly

3. I ran to the store in the rain and fell. Fragment Missing subject/complete thought

4. COMPLETE

5. (I'm not too sure but here may be an idea) Susie got home to her dog chewing up furniture, but didn't seem to worry much, because nothing that her dog does surprises her anymore. Fragment Missing complete thought

6. Everything has felt bleak since Amy moved to another town. Fragment Missing complete thought

7. Fran brought chili to the office lunch and she spilled it all over the floor. Run on Not connected properly

8. COMPLETE

9. Everyone made it sound so fun so it got us thinking that the movie was very exciting. Fragment Missing complete thought

10. We will go to the party whenever the football game is over. Fragment Missing complete thought

11.

 • period
 • comma & coordinating conjunction
 • semicolon
 • subordinating conjunction
 • comma splice

Note: These are just ideas, I didn't do this in high school, so I'm not gonna be 100% correct with these, these are just what I would've put down as my answers, but I learned about them recently from a teacher friend and hope these help a little, but the answers are mine, not the teachers

Allisa [31]
The correct answer is this passage:
CHORUS God of Thebes, lead thou the round. Bacchus, shaker of the ground! Let us end our revels here; Lo! Creon our new lord draws near, Crowned by this strange chance, our king. What, I marvel, pondering? . . .

Here the chorus says that they will "end the revels" which means: stop feeling happy, stop the festivities, become unhappy, because Creon is coming.

This shows that they have a negative attitude to him and perhaps fear him.

in a group discussion, which statement most clearly uses evidence to support a conclusion? a. the author makes some good points,
Citrus2011 [14]

Answer: C) The author proves that he's biased when he uses terms like "silly" and "stupid."

Explanation: The words "silly" and "stupid" are the only instances of evidence among the options, since they were taken directly from the text that is being discussed. The closest example of bringing the text's content into the discussion is in option C (stating what the author has expressed), but that option doesn't present any conclusion. Option A is presented as a personal opinion with a vague origin ("I feel") and option B tries to back the presented conclusion with an assumption ("the author obviously hates [...] fast food") instead of evidence.

Name some pros and cons about personality disorder
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

In general terms, a personality disorder means that the person doesn't get things the same way we usually do, in other words, that person has a rigid and unhealthy pattern of thinking, functioning and behaving.

That said, some of the - let's say - symthoms can be: a pervasive distrust and suspicion of others and their motives , unjustified belief that others are trying to harm or deceive him, suspicion of the loyalty or trustworthiness of others , hesitancy to confide in others due to unreasonable fear that others will use the information against him/her, among several other things according to the type of disorder, which they are several, and with proper care; they might become a tool eventually, I wouldn´t say they are pros per se.
