Answer:

The government needs to protect consumers in order to ensure that buyers are aware of the products they are buying and to ensure that any available goods and services are safe to buy and use. The government protects consumers by establishing regulatory agencies that correctly examine all of the products that suppliers produce.

Also, Well-chosen and carefully crafted regulations can protect consumers from dangerous products and ensure they have information to make informed choices. Such regulations can limit pollution, increase worker safety, discourage unfair business practices, and contribute in many other ways to a safer, healthier, more productive, and more equitable society.

For instance. If a company gave you food, and it was contaminated that wouldn't help.

Tom [10]

In case that the police or any other authority proceeds against the right granted in the Fourth Ammendment, their findings, having been illegally obtained, can not be presented before any court as evidence against any individual, nor a judge could allow to have them as evidence in a trial, because this would ignore the Sixth Ammendment by violating the right to an impartial trial.
