Which of the following has the correct hypothetical reasoning pattern?
Eva8 [605]

Answer:

I believe your answer is: B. If Tom goes sailing, then Tonya will go surfing. If Tonya goes surfing, then she will catch a cold. So, if Tom did not go sailing. Tonya will not catch a cold.

Explanation:

If Tom = sailing means Tonya = surfing and if Tonya = surfing means Tonya gets a cold, then if Tom does not go sailing then Tonya will not go surfing and get a cold.

Hope this helps.

Which best describes the tone used in the sentence? my car isn’t the greatest, but it’s not really that bad.
Alinara [238K]
If this were a question on my test, I'd probably go for tolerant or sentimental. I'd probably go for sentimental, because if the sentence had a more tolerant tone, it would say something like "My car isn't the greatest, but I can live with it".
