Answer:

Claudette's anxiety about the dance is clear when she begins to practice in secret.

or you could put

To force acceptance of the new reality in which she lives.

Explanation:

Explanation for Answer 1:

showing that Claudette does not feel she has the social skill needed for human interactions. Claudette's anxiety about the dance is clear when she begins to practice in secret and repeats to herself, “Mouth shut—shoes on feet!

Explanation for Answer 2:

Claudette is a girl who was raised by wolves. She lived by the ways of the wolves and knew nothing of human behavior. However, one day a group of nuns found her and took her to be raised as a human child, supplying what she believed she was and forcing her to assume human characteristics and customs.

One of the big changes that Claudette went through was having to wear shoes and not eat them like wolves do. So whenever the instinct to take your shoes off came, Claudette used the mantra that reminded her to behave like a human being. The mantra was "mouth closed and shoes on the feet".

Take shorthand notes as you listen critically to part of President Barack Obama’s inaugural address.
fiasKO [112]

Answer:

On President Barack Obama's inaugural address, he exalts America ancestors, and forty-four presidents before him. Their strength in the face of adversity. Also reflects on the prosperity and calm that America has lived through these presidents, but it calls attention to the times of crisis in which sometimes the oath was made.

He speaks of wars, times of violence and hatred, and of a weakened nation. That it is necessary to make difficult choices to prepare the nation for a new era.

Also he remembers that generations have faced  wars, fascism, communism, but had won not only with missiles, but alliances, convictions, and values. Qualities like humility and moderation. Power alone can't change things, but is necessary prudent use; that security emanates from the justice, and strength of their example, as a nation.

Why do you think companies put money into market research when it is so expensive?
ryzh [129]
Market research is absolutely essential for companies of all sizes, from beginners to wealthy. It provides real data, which can be used to help strengthen and improve various parts of the company. Investing in it, can also prevent them wasting money or something that the target market doesn’t want or need. Most research can be divided into three different categories, exploratory, descriptive and causal. Each serves a different end purpose and can only be used in certain ways.
