In what ways does Andrew provide a contrast to Robert in Eugene O'Neill's Beyond the Horizon?
Over [174]

Answer:

The main contrasts between Andrew and Robert are presented with the help of these attributes of their characters.

<em>Andrew is content to stay on the family farm, while Robert dreams of traveling.</em>

                                                       and

<em>Andrew enjoys working the land when Robert prefers reading and thoughts of adventure.</em>

Explanation:

Andrew and Robert are two brothers in Eugene O'Neill's play "Beyond the Horizon"

They are very similar in some attribute, while in some other attributes, they are at opposite poles from each other.

Andrew is described as on who has much interest in the fields, he takes all the pain to keep family's farm and fields in good shape. Robert, on the other hand, is totally indifferent to what is happening at farm and fields. He is characterized as having a poetic and delicate nature - reading books, and thinking about adventurous journeys occupy much of his time.

There is no contrast between Andrew and Robert on the bases of caring for their family. They both care much for their family.

Andrew is not resentful about Robert leaving the farm. He just says that everyone at farm including Andrew himself will miss him a lot.

What is the best way for Colleen to revise the paragraph to effectively use transitions? by adding the transition For example to
strojnjashka [21]

Read another excerpt from Colleen’s research-based essay on trends in education.

(1) One trend certain to remain, and even expand, is the trend toward integrating technology into the classroom.

(2) In many districts, the classroom has been transformed into a high-tech zone, other districts are lagging, due to a lack of either resources or vision.

(3) According to research, the most successful districts incorporate technology at a much higher rate of computer equipment per student than the least successful districts (Pellegrin 14).

What is the best way for Colleen to revise the paragraph to effectively use transitions?

by adding the transition For example to the beginning of sentence 1

by adding the transition though before the phrase other districts in sentence 2

by replacing the phrase According to research with the transition Indeed in sentence 3

by replacing the word than with the transition as well as in sentence 3

Answer:

by adding the transition though before the phrase other districts in sentence 2

Explanation:

The best way for Colleen to revise the paragraph effectively using transitions is by adding the transition "though" before "other districts" in the sentence sentence.

The addition of the transition word THOUGH just before "other districts" shows that although the classroom has been transformed to a high tech zone, the other districts are still lagging behind.

The use of the transition word THOUGH is used effectively because it shows that other districts have been neglected while the classroom has been transformed to a high tech zone.

A transition in grammar is a connection between two parts of a written work to improve cohesion. Some examples of transition words are THEREFORE, MOREOVER, HOWEVER, etc.

Yes, maybe compare capitals or large cities. You still want to have enough information findable, but Australia and England are both very large, and I consider it too broad.

levacccp [35]

Answer:

It would help build your credit score.

Explanation:

Making small purchases and paying off your payments is one of the best way to build your credit score, especially at a young age. If you are at least 18, I would recommend getting a credit card so that when you get older, you will have a good credit score to get loans for a car or even a house.
