Answer: D. The women's defects were more powerful than their graces
Explanation:
This is an excerpt from the Tempest, a play written by William Shakespeare. In the play, the magician named Prospero flees his dukedom in Milan, and arrives on an enchanted island, together with his daughter, Miranda.
Ferdinand is the son of the King of Naples, and he arrives on the island through one of Prospero's charms, when Prospero initiates the tempest.
Ferdinand and Miranda gradually fall in love. In this particular scene, Ferdinand flirts with her and claims that he did like several women before he met her, but each of them had some flaws which were stronger than their virtues. With Miranda, it is different - she is perfect in his eyes and has no rival.
I would say less. Mostly because I have seen people not wanting to vote or participate in elections because they feel as though there’s no point in it and they have their own set of beliefs due to either past events. People get very defensive when talking about politics because of everyone set of beliefs and most people don’t want to understand and listen to each other’s point of views.
Scientists might be able to resurrect lost species, but they should consider the possible consequences.
Regardless of the choices, I am going to have to say that the name of the plot structure that allows authors to "come late" to their own story is the Latin name for "into the middle of things" -> "in media res." I hope this helps! :P
