Answer:

  • Napoleon lost a large part of his military force.

Explanation:

One week after winning a bloody victory over the Russian army at the Battle of Borodino, Napoleon Bonaparte's Grande Armée enters the city of Moscow, just to discover the populace emptied and the Russian armed force withdrew once more.

Moscow was the objective of the attack, yet the betrayed city held no czarist authorities to sue for harmony and no incredible stores of nourishment or supplies to remunerate the French officers for their long walk. At that point, soon after 12 pm, fires broke out over the city, evidently set by Russian nationalists, leaving Napoleon's huge armed force without any way to endure the coming Russian winter.

What was the main reason Spanish missionaries immigrated to the New World?
AfilCa [17]
B. They wanted to convert the native peoples to Christianity

There was a link between Spanish conquest of territory and missionary "conquest" of souls.  In coming to the New World, Europeans believed they were culturally superior and were seeking to increase the reach and prosperity of their home countries.  Religious missionaries also believed that they held religious truth and needed to impart it to the native peoples living in the Americas.
