One thing that i like doing is having an interpretation of what a metaphormeans. In a metaphor it gives a message or mentions it in the acual line or lines. It is like a mainidea or the major meaning of what it is telling you because in a metaphor there can be more than on meaning. Sometimes it uses the word irony which is another word for ironic. The metaphormatches the lesson of what it is trying to give you. Which is why metaphors are my favorite type of figurtive language.
It matters because you have your opinion and your mom has hers but you want yourself to decided for you because you don't want your mom to decide for you, you want to make the decision yourself
