Do you recommend the book The Hunger Games to other people your age? Why or why not? Discuss the plot, characters, and themes (m
LiRa [457]

I think that The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a great book. It tells of a fictitious world in which the citizens of Panem fight to stay alive under the control of a powerful merciless government. Because of a long ago event, where the citizens of Panem grew angry at the Capital, and started a protest, the Capital has been ruthless, intent on forever punishing the Panemians (not an actual word). They developed a cunning way to keep the citizens of Panem in check, by forcing them to sacrifice two children from each district, to fight to the death in an arena. The winner would then be transported home, with food for the entire district. The losing districts would stay hungry and poor. This was a good way for the Capital to keep the districts from rising up against the Capital again, because they were pitted against each other.

Lots of secrets and interesting facts are revealed in each book in The Hunger Games and the other two books in the triology. This is a great book for all ages.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need more help, or if you think my answer is incorrect. Brainliest would be MUCH appreciated. Have a great day!

Stay Brainy!

The demographic transition Theory helps explain
Xelga [282]

Answer:

The demographic transition theory helps explain:

d. how population change is related to the technological development of a society.

Explanation:

Let's expand the concept letter D offers of demographic transition theory. Technological development is merely one of the factors that affect populations. The others are education and economic development.

According to the demographic transition theory, we find high rates of birth as well as death in societies with low economic and technological development and in which people are less educated.

As societies develop and people have more access to education, we notice firstly a decrease in death rates. Then, due to fertility and birth control, birth rates will also go down. Finally, both rates will be low in advanced societies.

tia_tia [17]

Answer: c) interpersonal predictors of divorce

Explanation:

Interpersonal predictors of divorce are behavioral attitudes that can act as predictors of divorce because when they occur, divorce follows in a lot of cases. Some of those predictors include, aggression/ fighting in the marriage, infidelity and a lack of trust amongst others.

These are present in Cole's marriage to Alyssa and so they are Cole's interpersonal predictors of divorce and if Cole does not implement measures to reverse their effects soon enough, Alyssa might become his third divorce.
