Answer:

Issues in shanty towns

The huge volume of people migrating to cities has caused many problems. Overcrowding is a major problem in shantytowns . On average, the population density of shanty towns is way above average of the most crowded cites. Because of the lack of toilets and poor sanitation, sewage often runs in open drains. This causes diseases which spread rapidly. People are poor and cannot afford healthcare or medicines so illnesses go untreated. Diseases spread quickly. As a result, infant mortality rates are high and life expectancy is low. This is why overcrowding is one of the most pressing problems facing people living in shantytowns.

Why did the Greeks develop the Polis
Shkiper50 [21]

Answer:

Straight from the text book

Explanation:

One major reason why ancient Greece was dominated by small city-states and independent towns, rather than by one all-powerful king, is its geography. ... A final reason behind the development of city-states was the Greek aristocracy, who acted to prevent any permanent monarchies from forming.

The source of _____ is personal as a ruler inherits authority on the basis of long-standing customs .
Natalka [10]

Based on the socio-cultural analysis, the source of <u>traditional authority</u> is personal as a ruler inherits authority based on long-standing customs.

This is because <u>traditional authority</u> is a form of authority established in the tradition or custom of a particular entity, place or company.

Traditional authority usually takes hereditary forms or is based on the long age established standards.

An example of Traditional authority is the Queen of England.

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the correct answer is "<u>Traditional authority."</u>
