I like mathematics the most because it's fun to do the equations, plus, doing math exercises your brain. Although, most of us say that mathematics is useless in life and what will we ever use it on. I have a part-time job as a builder. In this type of job, we use measurements to measure how tall and wide objects are to make them fit in. We also use mathematics to determine how much we spend monthly from the money that we have.

For example,

Let's say that I had $50,000 in my bank account.

And I spent $15,000 to upgrade my home.

50,000 - 15,000 = 35,000

And my bills cost $10,000, that means that I will have $25,000 left.

35,000 - 10,000 = 25,000

Another way that we use mathematics is when we add how much money we got in the job to the amount of money that is currently in our bank account.

For example,

In my builder job, I get $100 per hour and I work for 10 hours. 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

100 x 10 = 1,000

That means that I make $1,000 per day.

Let's add up how much we make per day, week, month, and year!

100 x 10 = 1,000 (per day)

100 x 10 x 7 = 7,000 (per week)

100 x 10 x 30 = 30,000 (per month)

100 x 10 x 365 = 365,000 (per year)

Now let's add it up to the current money in the bank account.

25,000 + 1,000 = 26,000 (day)

25,000 + 7,000 = 32,000 (week)

25,000 + 30,000 - 10,000 = 45,000 (month)

25,000 + 365,000 - 10,000 x 12 = 270,000 (year)

Finally, were done.

And that is why I like mathematics.

The rate of change of atmospheric pressure P with respect to altitude h is proportional to P, provided that the temperature is c
jonny [76]

Answer:

P = 101.5 e^{-0.00015h}

Step-by-step explanation:

dP/dh = kP

dP/P = k dh

ln P = kh + C

Now, using the points given,

ln 101.5 = C, so C = 4.62

ln 87.3 = k*1000 + 4.62

k = -0.00015

So, we have

ln P = -0.00015 h + ln 101.5

P = 101.5 e^(-0.00015h)
