List two differences between Plato's notion of the soul and Aristotle's?
nikdorinn [45]

Plato's theory of ideas is directly linked to his theory of the soul. In part IV of his book “Republic”, Plato conceives man as body and soul. As the body changes and ages, the soul is immutable, eternal and divine.

For Aristotle, men are not the only beings who have souls (or psyches); all living beings have it, from daisies and mollusks to more complex beings. Like a form, a soul is an act of a particular type.

Rasek [7]

Answer: Rational Ignorance

Explanation: The conversation above best reflects the concept of rational ignorance which could be explained as an idea of deciding which informations, stress or things are necessary while intentionally leaving out those deemed irrelevant as the cost outweighs the benefits. The senator is of the opinion and quite rightly that candidate with majority of the votes win and not votes from from the right thinking individuals. Here, the cost of ensuring that the right thinking person votes outweighs the benefits it provides as it doesn't give or provide what is required to be victorious.
