Let he get x as tip

We need 20% of 50.5

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow x=0.2(50.5)

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow x=10.1\$

He spent :-=50.50+10.10=60.60$

Answer:

<h2> Tim spent $60.60 for his lunch.</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The tip is 20% of what he paid for lunch. Hence

tip = 20% of 50.50 = (20/100)*50.50 = 101/100 = $10.10

Total spent

50.50 + 10.10 = $60.60

So hence, Tim spent $60.60 for his lunch.
