Answer:

The answers are 2, 3, 4.

Explanation:

1st and 6th options are incorrect. It was Copernicus that developed the Heliocentric theory. And it was Francis Bacon that developed the scientific method.

Copernicus' and Galileo's astronomical findings hugely influenced the modern science and challenged the Catholic church's ideas adversely.

Moreover, John Locke is considered as the father of liberalism and his views greatly challenged the then prevailing monarchy system.

Explain why the Arabs felt betrayed by the British after British occupation of Palestine.
aliya0001 [1]

The Arabs felt betrayed when the British occupied Palestine after WWI because they had been promised independence.

During WWI:

 • The British and French encouraged Arabs to rebel against the Ottoman empire
 • The British and French promised the Arabs independence in exchange for their support

When the war was over and the Arabs had fulfilled their side of the bargain, the British and French instead occupied Arab lands such as Palestine. This led to the Arabs being betrayed as they simply got new masters instead of independence.

In conclusion, the Arabs felt betrayed because the British had renegaded on a promise.
