Answer:

Two principal reasons account for this fact: first, the success of reformist political measures, and the existence of a non-violent Chartist movement; second, the elaboration of a British self-identity founded upon a notion of respectability.

How did FDR in World War II affect African Americans
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

During Roosevelt's presidency, many African American migrated from the South to the urban North. In the North, they were able to vote and had more job opportunities. The South was a worse place for black Americans to live. Roosevelt spoke against lynching and met with African American civil rights leaders. He also claimed that helping black Americans would cost him too many Southern votes. During World War II, blacks found more jobs than ever before, and racial tensions grew. This tension led to violence, like the race riot in 1943 Detroit.

Which two events in Britain indirectly influenced the American Revolution?
Lunna [17]

Answer:

The correct options are:

  1. The Bill of Rights is a 1689 English document that placed the English Parliament on Prince William of Orange, who was to replace King James II.
  2. The overthrow of James II by a coalition of Parliamentarians and the Dutch Estatuder Guillermo de Orange in 1688 was known as the Glorious Revolution. While there were battles and human lives lost in Ireland and Scotland, it is now known as the Invariant Revolution. Since "Glorious" or "Invariant" would represent Whig historian's biases, Catholic and Tori historians prefer the word "Revolution of 1688."

How did machines speed up  textile manufacturing
Effectus [21]
I'm not quite sure what you expect to learn here... Basicall when the machines were started to be used in textile manufactoring, less people were needed to produce a certain amount of goods.

Also manufacturers, as the name suggests, were based on the work of humans (with their hands). The introduction of machines was connected with the growing number of factories, where they are used to produce thigns.

Hope that's what you meant... If not, let me know :)
