<span>Lincoln went through several Generals that would not fight. Ulysses Grant lay siege to Vicksburg in 1863 it fell on the 4th of July and Lincoln had his guy. He took charge of the Union Army and finally took advantage of the Unions superior population, economy, railroad and money.</span>
