What rhetorical strategy is Wiesel using in the passage?(APEX)
UkoKoshka [18]

The correct answer is C: Logos.

In this passage, Wiesel gives a specific example of the cost of indifference. Specifically, thanks to the indifference of the United States, 1000 lives were needlessly lost when a ship was sent back to Nazi Germany.

Answer A can be eliminated because no question is being asked in the passage. Answer B can be eliminated because the exact number killed is mentioned but is not the focus of the passage. Finally, Answer D can be eliminated because he is not retelling a sad story about death.

The main idea of the passage is that the indifference of the US resulted in the deaths of those aboard the St. Louis.

Why is it important to be responsible to others on a personal, local, global and digital level?
gayaneshka [121]

It is very important to be responsible to others on a personal, local, global and digital level, because that is the way a person relates him or herself to the world.

In a globalized society like the one we are living now, the way a person behaves affects himself or herself in a positive or negative way. That is why all the actions and decisions we take can influence the way  others see you or asset you. For example, if a person decides to start a project, the first thing this person does is to use the digital platforms to reach the greatest number of people in a shortest period of time. If the message that is being transmitted is positive, the person obtains a positive response or feedback, and as a result of that, a success, but, if the message is negative, result is exactly the opposite.

When a person decides to expose his or her personal problems, (this is the case of many teenagers and even adults) , they use the social networks to make new friends or even to talk about their personal problems or issues. In many occasions this information is used not to help but to destroy the person.

What is shared, expressed, or even argued can influence in different ways the future of a person. Locally, you can get recognition, globally you can be retwitted, reposted and exposed to in many parts of the world, and for that, the digital platforms are definitely the number one ally.
