What famous speech did fdr propose the lend lease act?
djyliett [7]
The land lease programme aimed at providing military aid to any country whose defense was important to the security of United States. Earlier, Britain Prime minister, Winston Churchill asked for help against Hitler who was on the verge of invading Great Britain. This seemed risky for the United States and President Roosevelt addressed a speech to persuade the American citizens. In his speech, he argued out that the best immediate defense to the Americans would be the success of helping Britain to defend itself. Through this, America's interest in the survival of democracy in the whole world could be achieved, hence it was important to do everything to help the British Empire to defend itself. Unfortunately, the lead lease act was not passed until 1941.

Which of the following was a common experience for working-class women living in European urban centers during the Industrial Re
Elza [17]
I assume you have choices for this question? Anyway, working-class women during that era weren't exempted from factory work. They worked mainly in factories of textile, piecework, and coal mine industries. It was extra tiring for working-class women because after a hard day's work at the factories, they are faced with household duties and child care.
