Why did the Americans create a weak central government when they made the articles of confederation?

Because of widespread fear of a strong central government at the time they were written and strong loyalties among Americans to their own state as opposed to any national government during the American Revolution, the Articles of Confederation purposely kept the national government as weak as possible

Flower structure

Parts of a flower

The flower is the reproductive organ of many plants.

The component parts of plant that allow reproduction: petal, anther, stamen, filament, stigma, ovary, ovule, nectary and sepal.

The table describes the main parts of a flower and their functions:

SepalsProtect the unopened flower

PetalsMay be brightly coloured to attract insects

StamensThe male parts of the flower (each consists of an anther held up on a filament)

AnthersProduce male sex cells (pollen grains)

StigmaThe top of the female part of the flower which collects pollen grains

OvaryProduces the female sex cells (contained in the ovules)

NectaryProduce a sugary solution called nectar, which attracts insects
