Answer:

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is a dispute between the State of Israel, established in 1948, and the Palestinian Arabs, as part of a wider animosity between Israel and the Arab world. The controversy has continued since then and concerns the existence of the state of Israel, its borders, and Jewish-Arab relations in the area between the Mediterranean and the Jordan River. The foundations of the establishment of the Jewish state date back to the 19th century, when the emerging Zionist movement began to encourage the migration of Jews to the territory of present-day Israel in order to establish their own state in the historical homeland of the Jews.

A solution to the conflict has been sought without result from the two-state model, in which the West Bank and Gaza would become an independent Palestinian state. The situation in Gaza has become the most difficult humanitarian situation in the conflict, with Hamas, which has been classified as a terrorist organization, gaining control of Gaza in various ways, to which Israel has responded with violent retaliation and the blockade of the Gaza Strip. Egypt has also closed its borders to Gaza to prevent the spread of terrorism.
