This information in incomplete hence the general answer. The question is related to the use of Ezcel Work Sheet to solve problems.

What are the Key Tasks in the Question?

The key tasks stated are:

 • Inserting a Column
 • Naming that Column - "Years"
 • Insert a formula into Cell H5 that subtracts the Start Year of the project from 2022. We shall assume that the start year is 2010.
 • Clearing the Conditional Formatting Rule.

To insert a column, you'd need to right-click on the headers of the column after the information provided where you have the alphabetical labels such as A, B, C, etc....on the drop-down list, you'd find an option "insert".

To name the Column simply click on the first cell on top of the new column and type the name "Years", then press the "Enter" key.

To insert a formula, first you must click on the cell where you want the formula. Next, insert the "equal to" sign (=), then type your formula. In this case, the formula is = 2022-2021. Or If the year referenced is already in a cell on the worksheet, just type "= (name of cell) - 2021", then press the "Enter" key.

In order to clear formatting, under the "Home" tab, select "Conditional formatting". You will see a list that contains "Clear Rules". Select it to clear all conditional formatting from the entire sheet or the selected cell.
