There are three categories to describe volcanoes: extinct, dormant, and active. Extinct means it is not expected to erupt again. Dormant means it has not erupted in say...the last 10,000 years, but could erupt again. Active means it has erupted within the past 10,000 years. Some so-called extinct volcanoes have erupted. So....you decide. Active? Dormant?

Due to these hurricanes, the sands from the beaches move, after moving the sand reaches off sand bars. Sand bars are one where sand is accumulated and away from the shores. Sandbars can be dangerous also. Sandbars look like spots where one can relax but we should be careful.
