The author's showed that Harriett is able to continue using what her father taught her when she became a nurse by; Choice 3;

 • 3. Harriet uses the lessons Ben taught her about nursing to help her patients at the hospital.

Harriett; The Angel of Crimea

Excerpts indicate that;

 • Nightingale herself spent every waking minute caring for the soldiers. In the evenings she moved through the dark hallways carrying a lamp while making her rounds, ministering to patient after patient. The soldiers, who were both moved and comforted by her endless supply of compassion, took to calling her “the Lady with the Lamp.” Others simply called her “the Angel of Crimea.” Her work reduced the hospital’s death rate by two-thirds.

Butoxors [25]

Henry's meeting with Sam contributes to the theme of the story by showing that Sam is a female. Before he met the real sam, he incorrectly thought that Sam was a male.

I believe that the theme relates to how women can do things men can do just as well and how Henry has to learn and understand this. When Henry met Sam, I could tell that he was a little off-put by the fact that she was the diner owner and a strong woman. In the play, Henry says "...but surely you have help from this fellow named Sam." this shows how he wrongly assumes Sam is a male. In the end, he even admits that "my readers and I have a lot to learn!"

I hope this helps!

It took me a while to write this all out, and I would appreciate it if you could mark me as brainliest :-)

Rewrite each sentence below using the infinitive form of the gerund.
Step2247 [10]

Answer:

It's tough to be the youngest.

Explanation:

The infinitive form of a verb is the verb in its basic form. It is most times started with 'to', and then the base verb follows. It could also simply just be the verb in it's base form. A gerund is the -ing form of a verb. So, in the sentence above, the gerund is 'being'.

Therefore, to convert this sentence to the infinitive form, the gerund, 'being' will be converted to its base form, -be. When 'to' is attached to it, it becomes the infinitive, -to be.
