In addition to salinity, what factor affects the density of seawater?
MAXImum [283]

Answer:

The answer is Temperature.

Explanation:

As is known, seawater is a solution, since it contains salts in solution, which is directly proportional to density. Another influential factor in seawater density is temperature, since if there is an increase in seawater temperature, the density will decrease and the colder the water (lower temperature), the water will be more dense. Temperature has a greater effect on seawater density than salinity because water with a higher degree of salinity can float on water with a lower degree of salinity, depending on whether the layer with more salinity is at a higher temperature than the layer with a lower degree of salinity.

krek1111 [17]

Answer:

A.

Explanation:

Drangonwings is a novel written by Laurence Yep. The novel is a children's historical novel. The book describes the life of Chinese immigrants in America in the early twentieth century through the life of a nine-year-old boy named Moon Shadow Lee.

The evidence that the film would need to include to show the possible difficulties the narrator and his father encountered in the novel will be by adding more conversation between US citizens and Chinese immigrants. The encounter of the Chinese immigrants with the US citizens will reveal the way citizens behaved with the immigrants.

Therefore, option A is correct.

In at least one hundred words, explain how the structure of Elizabeth Bishop’s “Sestina” helps to convey meaning in the poem. Pr
Lesechka [4]

The sestina is a particular fixed verse form which is characterized by using the same six words at the end of each verse throughout six stanzas (with a final three verse envoi). It was originally developed by the Provençal poet Arnaut Daniel. It is an extremely challenging form, since the constant repetition of the same words forces the poet to come up with variations in the way they are used. In this poem, this repetition, and the monotony it implies, signifies the sadness that surrounds the old grandmother and the child. The word tears in particular (referring to the rain, the grandmother's sadness, the water being heated and even the tea) creates, as it appears againg and again, a dark, sad mood. The use of almanac also instills a sense of doom: it is autumn (September), and the darker months are ahead. The calendar will only bring more sadness.
