Answer:       The Nobel peace prize King received him for his nonviolent struggle against segregation.

Explanation:   He was the youngest person to receive this award. He dedicated several years of his life to fight peacefully for equality, for the rights to the black population to be recognized. He did not support violence or racial discrimination in the United States.
