Climate change in South Africa is leading to increased temperatures and rainfall variability. Evidence shows that extreme weather events are becoming more prominent due to climate change. This is a critical concern for South Africans as climate change will affect the overall status and wellbeing of the country, for example with regards to water resources. Just like many other parts of the world, climate research showed that the real challenge in South Africa was more related to environmental issues rather than developmental ones.

What is carbon oxygen cycle? Explain in your own words
Fittoniya [83]

Answer:

the process by which oxygen released into the atmosphere by photosynthetic organisms is taken up by aerobic organisms while the carbon dioxide released as a by-product of repiration is taken up for photosynthesis.

Explanation:

Plants use carbon dioxide in a process known as photosynthesis. During photosynthesis, plants give off oxygen as a waste product. Carbon dioxide moves from the air into the leaves of plants through tiny openings in the plant's leaves. Oxygen moves out of the plant leaf through these same openings

Trench warfare faced challenges
including sanitation, injury and mud.

True
False
Aneli [31]
True. If you are in a trench, you are literally sitting in a hole in the dirt for hours on end; sometimes keeping watch, sometimes in the heat of battle. If you get injured, there are tons of diseases in the dirt and from humans just sitting in that hole for large amounts of time, usually without showering for days or weeks (depending on where you are and the resources available). Injury, you could get shot in the shoulder while firing, or someone could throw an active grenade into the trench and, well, it wouldn't end well. Mud-- you're sitting in a hole, in the dirt. If it rains, you are now sitting in a wet hole in the dirt, and dedication to your country--or flying bullets--is keeping you there.
