At first, the Time Traveller thought that the Eloi were masters and the morlocks were their servants. He assumed this because the eloi lived a utopian existence above ground, while the murlocks toiled underground.

My independent reading selection was "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini. This story grabbed my attention because it has many divers

The plot of Eragon contains the following details:

A boy named Eragon is the protagonist of the story. He discovers a mysterious stone, but does not understand what this is or what it can be used for. Later in the story, he discovers that the stone is actually an egg, and a dragon comes out of it. He names the dragon Saphira. However, a king called Galbatorix is looking for the egg, which forces Eragon and Saphira to flee. When Eragon meets a storyteller called Brom, he offers to teach Eragon about an extinct group called "The Riders."
