During the first half of a basketball game Kevin Ware jumped up to attempt and block a shot. When he landed his leg broke in two places. The tibia and the fibula were poking through his skin. The crowd went silent when they realized that the injury was worse then just a broken leg. Since then he has made a full recovery.
