In art as in other fields, randomness occurs if there is not a plan, order or specific organization, but the artists allow a process to occur without intervention or conscious decisions. Randomness in art is more common than believed as many artists now believe this factor contributes positively to a unique style and even resembles some factors of nature that occur randomly rather than planned. In the case presented the artist is suing randomness because he or she is not following a plan or conscious decisions about the result of artwork, instead of this, the artist just throws open cans without looking and expects random natural forces would create a unique art piece.
