Lance wrote this blog post: At first, I thought I couldn’t possibly be interested in a story set in A.D. 793, but I was wrong. V

iking marauders invade Saxon Britain, and Jack, an apprentice bard, or storyteller, is kidnapped and forced to apply his storytelling skills to become a skald, or poet and bard to the Norseman who took him captive. Despite witnessing the violence and destruction wrought upon Britain by his captors, Jack also witnesses courage and honor, both of which compel him to survive. I recommend The Sea of Trolls to anyone who enjoys well-written historical fiction. What does Lance do to make his writing coherent, or easy for his readers to understand? A. He organizes details in order of importance. B. He defines uncommon words to eliminate confusion. C. He directs readers to the book where they can get more information. D. He uses a casual writing style for the purpose of reaching teen readers.

Which best describes the impact of Gelissen’s first-person account of her experiences in Rena's Promise: Two Sisters in Auschwit
9966 [12]

<em><u>Answer:</u></em>

  • It helps the reader to better understand the author's pain and fear.

The literary utilization of the first person to retell and portray is exceptionally regular since it gives the author an abstract perspective which may make the storyteller increasingly reliable, the creator is talking as a matter of fact so retellings and depiction will in general be more nitty gritty and customized than utilizing the third person.
