It depends. Courageous people tend to be happier than people who lack courage, although they may be more uncomfortable at times outside their comfort zone. These people know that although stepping outside your comfort zone is hard, the ultimate payoff is better than staying in your zone. People who lack courage are temporarily comfortable, however, they do not get any long-term rewards for their comfort. Let's say there is a new kid at the school. If you go to them and introduce yourself, you've made their day and made a new friend. They could potentially be your friend for many years to come! However, if you let the opportunity pass, you've potentially missed out on all the possibilities. One way to determine how to act in a situation is to identify risks and payoff. I hope this helps! :)
