Answer:Rationale: Do we have your support? Indirect lobbying focuses on the public to gain support from citizens. In this case, mailing advertisements would be an example of indirect lobbying, since all the other choices are forms of direct lobbying. Rationale: Just be direct. Direct lobbying means making direct contact with lawmakers to have a more direct influence on lawmaking. Therefore, the most powerful way to support the bill would be to directly contact lawmakers who will vote on it. Rationale: A common interest. An interest group is a group with common goals who works to promote a specific cause. Many time interest groups attempt to influence elected officials to make a change in public policy that would be good for their cause. Rationale: A lack of support. It was discovered that Nixon’s advisors had connections to the individuals involved in the burglary at the democratic headquarters. Not long after, Nixon was forced to release transcripts of all his recorded conversations at the White House. Nixon complied, but did not turn over any of the recorded conversations with his advisors. He claimed that as president he had the right to keep discussions with his advisors private. As the case details were released through the media, Americans were shocked to learn that the President might be involved in criminal activity and withdrew their support.Rationale: Even executive privileges have their limits. In the case of United States v. Nixon, the Supreme Court put limits on the executive privilege of the president.Rationale: Nixon believed in presidential privileges. He asserted his executive privilege when he refused to respond to a subpoena to produce recordings of conversations with the individuals indicted for burglary of the democratic headquarters.: Rationale: A common interest. An interest group is a group with common goals who works to promote a specific cause. Many time interest groups attempt to influence elected officials to make a change in public policy that would be good for their cause. An animal rights organization that supports new laws for animal health care would be an example of this.Rationale: A wealth of information. By definition, media means the means of sharing information – through television, radio, newspapers, magazines and the Internet. A television station airing a candidate’s speech would be an example of the media’s influence on government.Rationale: One person can spark change. Citizens can influence the government in many ways. In this case, Cynthia Citizen wrote a letter to her county council member about the flooding problem in her neighborhood. She effectively influenced her local government, since they decided to include this problem in the agenda for their next county meeting.Rationale: A cover up. In this political cartoon, two reels connect a broken tape, held together by President Nixon. This symbolized the fact that President Nixon released the recordings with missing portions. The president clings to the two pieces of tape, symbolizing that he was “grasping” with his statement, “I am not a crook.” The artist believes that the president knew about the burglary and was trying to cover up the evidence.

the battle of midway was a battle in the pacific ocean. Since the japans attack pearl harbor the US did`t have a boat yard for their ships. Plus in those moments the japans took control of half of the pacific ocean. Then the US found out that japan was going to send another raid through air again. So they armored up and went to spy on what the japans had. Spotted the japans had 3 aircraft carriers 50 support ships and 233 planes and 127 land based planes and 8 submarines. The US where out number the US gave no chances and headed to attack they send in their aircraft carrier and the war begins. the US send numerous planes to attack all 3 carriers and they succeed to destroy two. But one remains then the last japans carrier send all it`s bomber planes to attack the US Yorktown sadly the Yorktown got destroyed but they never lost heart. The US attack the last japans carrier and succeed. This showed that not only the US could fight back but they had awoken the beast of war.

the battle of El Alamein  was a fight in Egypt that the Axis power Italy and Germany wanted to get into Egypt but they had to fight off united kingdom, united states, free french, south Africa, new Zealand, Australia, India, Palestine, and Ceylon. This powers gained forces to stop the axis to push into Egypt. Their was a first and second battle the first battle was to not lit the Axis powers in so they mad e a huge defense to hold them off. But the Germans where to strong especially with Italy so in the first battle the Axis power got through and the Allies had to fall back somewhere else. And the second attack was at a near Egypt railroad then that where they made their last stand the Allies gave all they had and fought with valor. With the help of the US sending in air support to the Allies that helped them a lot and with the new tanks and weapons used like the Churchill division they made a last stand to push the Axis power out.

Examples of cultural diffusion in ancient Rome
stepladder [879]
Some examples of cultural diffusion in Ancient Rome is when they began trading. Traders would come and speak about what they've seen and spoke about. Diffusion also happened when people traveled just to make deliveries or travel to different places and they just so happen to pass through the Roman Empire.
