Here the experiment is on heart rate of a person

Controlled Variable:

  • Time

Explanation:

  • Both shall workout for the same time.
  • Measure their heart rate and see who's heart rate is higher.

Independent Variable:

  • Age

Explanation:

  • Age is different for everyone and independent.
  • Make them workout for the similar amount of time then measure their heart rate.
  • Older person will have greater heart rate.

=================================================================

  • The person with <u>less heartbeat means he has a great fitness</u>.
  • The person with <u>greater heartbeat means he has a bad fitness</u>.

Which product is the result of light reactants in photosythesis
slega [8]

The Light Reactions of Photosynthesis. Light is absorbed and the energy is used to drive electrons from water to generate NADPH and to drive protons across a membrane. These protons return through ATP synthase to make ATP.

<u>What is the end product of light reaction in photosynthesis?</u>

The energy from sunlight is converted into a small amount of ATP and an energy carrier called NADPH. Together with carbon dioxide, these are used to make glucose (sugar) through a process called the Calvin Cycle. This is the things happening during light reaction of photosynthesis .

Hope this helps:)

Pick one of the following genetic variations that have occurred in human evolution. Then pick one of the three causes of genetic
Marrrta [24]

Smaller teeth and jaws are due to genetic variation, which occurred by mutations (errors in DNA replication) and were selected to fill a suitable niche.

<h3>What is evolution?</h3>

Evolution is the mechanism of change of one species to adapt given environment, whereas mutations are the raw material for evolution.

In this regard, scientific evidence supports the fact that jaws evolved to become shorter in humans and thus adapt to a pastoral lifestyle.

In conclusion, smaller teeth and jaws emerged by mutations and were selected to fill a suitable niche.

Valine is an amino acid used to make proteins. It is an essential amino acid meaning the body cannot synthesize it and thus, it
valentinak56 [21]

<u>Answer:</u>

<em>The correct option is Option C i.e. its hydrophobic. </em>

<em></em>

<u>Explanation:</u>

The side chain of valine is isopropyl group. It is a hydrocarbon side chain. Isopropane is a hydrophobic compound. So as it joins with the amino acid skeleton as a variable group, it makes the whole amino acid hydrophobic.

Its hydrophobic nature is well evident from the disease of sickle cell anaemia. The replacement of hydrophilic glutamate by hydrophobic valine makes the interaction of haemoglobin by changing other components.
