Explanation:

Many adults believe they know what surrounds them. They tend to think their children as well as other kids don't know the world around them. Indulging themselves into thinking they know more since they experienced more than the kids could ever have. Adults think this because when they talk to kids it reminds them of their past experiences or rebelling and immature and they don't want their kids to act like that. Telling them they understand, they know what'd going on. Saying how that is bad and how that is true they talk as if they grasp all the situations the kids are talking about. Why does adults think they know everything, that's a complete mystery?
