Answer:
A: I love to dress up in a costume and attend a screening of 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' with my friends at midnight.
This is the correct sentence.
Explanation:
Correct punctuation is very important in a sentence. It makes the meaning of the sentence clear. Wrong punctuation can confuse the reader and the meaning might not be communicated correctly. Option A is properly punctuated, giving the movie name in quotes ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’.
In Option B, it is written ‘open double quote’. This is wrong. We put the quotes and do not write in this way. In Option C and D there are no quotes. Thus, Option B, C and D are incorrect.
Answer:
I think that if you change your language more, to be more formal and not use words like "a kid named cole" or "snitched" (also not trying to be mean just being critical so that you can get a good grade) I will write the exact same thing but more formal, it will be 100% mine and you can use it if you would like.
Explanation:
In the story "Touching Spirit Bear" the protagonist is Cole Matthews. He is a troubled teenager that gets in trouble for injuring and harrassing a peer by the name of Peter Driscal. He does this because of some anger issues that he is dealing with. His offences were serious so, he was facing a lot of jail time. His parole officer believes that Cole can change and he doesnt deserve this so instead of sending him to jail he gets him into a Native American program that they call Circle Justice.
Cole becomes a better person throughout the book, he becomes more confident and courageous. You can see a clear change because in the beginning he was making bad decisions for himself and while he experiences all of the ups and downs in this program he grows as a person. In one scene of the book Cole burned a cabin down. This shows that Cole is not making the right decisions, he acts out and does something drastic. Although this is true, latter in the same scene Cole cries expressing his emotions which tells the readers that he knows what he did was wrong and deep down he wants to do better and change. In another scene of the book Cole decides to make dinner for everyone. This shows that he has changed and become better. He shows that he cares about others and wants to have joy in his life, he worked hard and showed that he respected others. Another way that shows Coles improvements is when he hugs his mom. He is showing her that he cares and that he changed.
Hopefully this helps, hope you get a good grade!
The one that makes the most sense to me would be "sharply" because you would have to really understand it to get the context.
Hope this helps :)
