The dysfunctional organisms spilled across into the hallways, devasting the integrity of the Markin Peller's National Institute for Biological Discovery, thanks to the apparent prodigy that was the newly elected chairman of the NIBD, Harry Gelman. In fact, a manifestation of his greatest work was realized right here in the institution, with a dramatic sculpture of Eisenhower manipulating flowers together to construct a genetically modified organism. But no one realized that the chairman was truly illiterate, for, as a result of his over-obsession with craftsmanship and the sciences, he had overlooked in the importance of literature, instead using large sums of his own passed parent's endowments to purchase tutors which would fill out his master treaties, such as Once in a Fine Time: A Complete Historical Catalog of Advancement in the Biological Field. Though the situation has now stabilized, further precaution ought to be taken in the future, for the institution will be no means be redeemed for quite a while; the reputation of the research institution has been marred.

I suggest rephrasing the words if you feel like my writing is too advanced.

What type of plot structure allows authors to “come late” to their own story?
bezimeni [28]
The plot structure that allows authors to 'come late' to their own story is in medias res. It is a Latin term which basically means 'into the middle of things.' Sometimes authors don't want to bother giving their characters a backstory, but rather begin the novel in the middle. An example would be Gaiman's 'American Gods,' because we don't see each of the gods' history in the beginning.
