What does "she planted her feet in first position, standing erect like a wooden toy soldier" mean?

This is a simile.  First position is a stance in ballet where the feet are placed in a position that point directly to the left and right.  For instance, if a person’s nose was considered to be pointing to 12 o’clock and the back of person’s head was considered to be pointing to 6 o’clock, the left shoulder would be considered to be point to 9 o’clock, and the right shoulder would be considered to be pointing to 3 o’clock.  First position in ballet is where a person puts the heels of their feet together and points the left foot to 9 o’clock and the right foot to 3 o’clock while standing up straight.  “Like a wooden toy soldier” means that her posture was probably close to perfect, so much so that her stance could be equated to that of a soldier standing at attention.  And, she probably was standing so still that she resembled something as immobile as a statue or toy, or in this case, a toy soldier.

How could following the suggestions about your workplace habits help you at school? How about in your
erastovalidia [21]

Answer:

Good habits such as Reliability and Dependability, dedication to your work, cooperation, and communication are very valuable traits you use at both school and work. These will help you because your employers or teachers will note that your responsible and you will get the job (or if you're in school you'll get good grades). School prepares you for work so really these traits are good for both places. People will want to hire that person that's willing to put in hard work and other skills over other people interviewing for the job. Soft skill such as good memory and communication are valuable. At school you learn how to socialize as well in discussions.

Hope this helps

Please write a short letter to Lee, between 120-180 words.
Ray Of Light [21]
It would be too obvious for me to write the entire letter for you, but I'll include a list of points that you could include in your own writing style:

* Thanking Lee for his letter, and saying that you are happy that he is having a good time.
* Telling him roughly what you're studying at school (without being boring).
* Write about what you would like to do when you leave school.
* Finally, say that you miss him a lot and look forward to hearing from him soon.
