Remember the quotient rule

\frac{dy}{dx}  \frac{f(x)}{g(x)}= \frac{f'(x)g(x)-g'(x)f(x)}{g(x)^2}

k, so
top is 3x^2-8x+4, the deritivive of that is 6x-8
bottom is 7x^2+6x+9, deritivive is 14x+6

so
\frac{dy}{dx}  \frac{top}{bottom}= \frac{top'bottom-bottom'top}{bottom^2}=   \frac{(6x-8)(7x^2+6x+9)-(14x+6)(3x^2-8x+4)}{(7x^2+6x+9)^2}
if we simplify it we get
\frac{2(37x^2-x-48)}{(7x^2+6x+9)^2}
subsituting x=4
\frac{216}{4205}

Suppose that distribution of the daily calcium intake of Americans is left skewed with a mean of 800 mg and a standard deviation
babymother [125]

Answer:

Explained below.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the Central Limit Theorem if an unknown population is selected with mean μ and standard deviation σ and appropriately huge random samples (n > 30) are selected from this population with replacement, then the distribution of the sample means will be approximately normal.

Then, the mean of the sampling distribution of sample means is given by,

\mu_{\bar x}=\mu

And the standard deviation of the sampling distribution of sample means is given by,

\sigma_{\bar x}=\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}

So, if the sample of daily calcium intake of Americans collected is more than 30, then the sampling distribution of \bar X will be approximately normal.

What is a = 1/2 (b-c) if b is the subject
natulia [17]

Answer:

b = 2a + c

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

a = \frac{1}{2} (b - c)

Multiply both sides by 2 to clear the fraction

2a = b - c ( add c to both sides )

2a + c = b

The two objects are the same height, and the cylinder is just wide enough for the the box to fit inside with all 4 vertical edge
OLEGan [10]

Answer:

The answer is below

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a box with a length of l, width of w and a height of h is given by the formula:

volume of the box = length * width * height = lwh

The volume of a cylinder with a height of h, and radius r is given by the formula:

volume of the cylinder = π * radius² * height = πr²h

Since the box and the cylinder have the same height and the cylinder is wide enough for the box to be placed inside, this means that the box has a volume greater than that of the cylinder. Hence:

If the box can take 8 cups, the cylinder would be able to take 10 cups.
