Cecil started from point A and moved according to the expression 8+(-5)+7+6+(-7)+5+(-8).What one additional step does Cecil need

to in order to return to the starting point? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

This may look difficult but really it is just addition and subtraction. So first of all the negative numbers EX: (-5), those are easy if it says add negative 5. its the same as subtraction 5. Its easier if you use a number line. So the problem 8+(-5)+7+6+(-7)+5+(-8) is equal to 6. So if the objective is to get the number to 0, you can subtract 6 (or add negative 6). If the objective is to get back to 8 (Since that is technically point A though it is unclear) then you need to add 2 (or subtract negative 2). Viola!
