Assonance refer to the sound between syllables of words which resembles with each other nearly. It doesn't rise from consonants but from the rhyming of two or more stressed vowels.

Repetition: Waiting for the night to end/waiting for a friend/waiting for that morning light. "Waiting for" is being repeated.
Alliteration: The soft snow swirled in circles around the subway stairs. The "sss" sound is being repeated.

I'm not sure about the others, but I hope this helps. :)

the town elected a fire chief and he is a fearless leader . In which option is a participial phrase used to revise the sentence
tekilochka [14]

The participle phrase starts either with the present (dependably ending with -ing) or past (dependably ending with -ed)

The participle phrase includes the modifiers or objects to complete the thought of the sentence.

For instance, in the above sentence 'elected' is in past and modifies 'fire chief'. Therefore, the participle phrase acts as an adjective always, providing a description of the sentence.

What does Cassio’s affectionate greeting of Emilia reveal about his character?
dangina [55]

In the play Othello, we see that Cassio is a man who is proud of his polite behaviour. He is a gentleman, and is interested in being thought of in that way.

One instance in which this becomes clear is in the case of his greeting of Emilia and Desdemona. When Cassio greets them, he is very affectionate. He considers this to be good manners, and the correct way to treat a lady. However, Iago uses this charm to plot against Cassio and Othello, by convincing Othello that Cassio is having an affair with Desdemona.
