Since the two lines are parallel, the angle labeled 130 is congruent to the angle labeled x+ 136 so you can set them equal to each other

130 = x + 136
subtract 136 from both sides

x = -6

Because the 130° angle and the x + 136° angle are opposite interior angles, they will be equal.  From this, we can set up this equation:

130 = x + 136

We solve for x by subtracting 136 from both sides.

x = -6

So, x is -6°

How do you graph linear equations
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

Look At the y over x. X is how many places you move on the x-axis. Y is how many places that you move up. So you would repeat that where the Y intercept is.

Step-by-step explanation: for example: y=2x+1. You would move up 2 places and over on the X axis one place, and since 1 is the Y-intercept that is where it would intercept on the Y-axis.

Can anybody help with this question ?
pickupchik [31]

Yes it is congruent.

Two shapes are congruent when they have exactly the same dimensions (area, length...)

 Transformations, reflections and rotations don't affect the shape of the object.

Hence they are congruent.

OR

Compare the dimensions of both triangles...it's obvious that it's still the same.

Hence they are congruent.
