Hi!

Based on context clues, we can tell that the speaker is not enjoying the whining, so we can rule out soft and pleasant.

Well-founded is an adjective describing a belief or suspicion that a person has as based on facts, saying that whining is well-founded is saying that the whining has a good base or is for a good reason.

This would make sense, however the speaker says that the whining is not going to help this person's cause, meaning we can rule out well-founded.

This leaves C. Unending

Hope this helps :)

Answer: Unending

Explanation:

When we read and find an unusual or unknown word within a text, we can use the surrounding information to help comprehend the meaning of that word, that is to say, we can use context clues. In the sentence, the word "please", the imperative verb "stop" and the noun "whining", which refers to a high-pitched complaining cry or sound that it is so annoying that it feels like it would not stop, are all indicators that the adjective "incessant" refers to something that has no stop, no pause, no end, in other words, that is unending.

One way to demonstrate academic integrity is to
eimsori [14]
One way to demonstrate academic integrity is to give credence and acknowledgement to the sources of your information.

For example:
You wrote a definition of a term. And you found that definition in a book authored by somebody. On you paper, you either write "According to the novel written by author, TERM is defined as..."

For example:
You are tasked to define the word "plagiarism".

To demonstrate academic integrity, you define plagiarism like this:

According to wikipedia, Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work.

Note that you have stated your source.
You can then add your own input and thought about the word. Like this:

I believe that plagiarism is an act of a lazy person. A person who pretends to be smart but in reality is just a parasite.
